St. John’s – June 12, 2009 – Camouflage Software Inc. is pleased to announce today that the company’s CEO, Kevin Duggan, has been nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. A reception to announce the nominees was held June 11, 2009 at the Johnson GEO Centre in St. John’s. Kevin Duggan was nominated under the information technology industry for an emerging company.
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award is one of the most prestigious awards for entrepreneurs, recognizing the contributions of people who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement. The award encourages entrepreneurial activity among those with potential and is the only global award that celebrates outstanding people who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses.
Finalists will be announced on July 7, 2009 and those chosen will go to Halifax, Nova Scotia to attend the regional gala awards banquet being held October 1, 2009, where the regional Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award will be presented. The regional winner will then compete for the national title in November.
