Developed to easily mask copies of production data, Camouflage is particularly useful for activities such as software testing and training, research and data mining and in the overall handling of sensitive data in non-production environments.
The release of Camouflage 3.5 marks the addition of subsetting to the Camouflage software. This new functionality allows for easy creation of smaller sized, realistic and fully functional, copies of (production) databases for use in development, testing, training, etc. Also, a variety of advanced features are provided, including the ability to graphically view and configure rules, maintain consistency across databases, produce random samples and preview results.
