St. John's, NL - February 19, 2007 - Plato, the market leader in data masking, today announced the release of the latest version of the company's flagship software product, Camouflage® 3.2. Designed specifically for data masking, Camouflage exhibits leading-edge technology that facilitates an organization's data privacy needs and compliance with privacy legislation.

"The release of version 3.2 is an important milestone in the continual development of Camouflage" says Kevin Fleming, President of the Plato Group. "Version 3.2 offers improved data masking capabilities and efficiencies, including the addition of Teradata to the extensive list of supported database types. The newly added support for Teradata clearly demonstrates the flexibility of our software, as well as our capacity to meet the specific masking needs of our clients".

Camouflage masks sensitive information, yet ensures accurate and quality test data for a variety of environments including development, testing, quality assurance, training, and data mining. As organizations shift towards a global approach to business operations, Camouflage is ideal for data sharing for international outsourcing and offshoring initiatives.

The addition of Teradata has expanded the list of databases that Camouflage supports, which include: Oracle®, DB2® UDB, SQL Server, Sybase ASE®, MySQL and HSQLDB, and current masking capabilities for various mainframe systems, including DB2® and VSAM, among others.

Version 3.2 also features significant enhancements to capabilities in masking national identification numbers. The software intelligently generates the national identification numbers for 12 countries, some of which include: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Argentina, China, and Australia.

Camouflage 3.2 also contains further enhancements that strengthen the software's overall masking capabilities and performance, including the ability to export and mask data from flat files.
